Welcome everyone to the Vancouver 2008 - NZU Site.

Please check this site for updates and information regarding selections, training camps and other information re Worlds 2008.

Registration

The first thing we need everyone to do who is intending on being available for selection for the NZ teams we send to Vancouver is to register and pay a deposit of $100 by 1 July 07. No deposit and registration - no eligibility for selection. This is simply to be fair to all, and allow teams and selections to be realistic This can be done using the following bank account.

Please use your first initial and last name to identify you when making your deposit. The deposit will be refunded to those who are not selected. Once selected the deposit becomes non refundable.

Selections

Selections will be done early next year - details will be posted here as they are finalised.

Positions

We are currently looking for individuals to assist in the roles of:

  • Selectors (3 per team)
  • Team managers (1-2 per team)
  • Coaches (1-2 per team)


These positions may be filled by people who may or may not wish to play. We are also keen to have help from those who are not necessarily wishing to travel to Vancouver.

If you are interested in helping with any of these positions please apply to the NZU Board with a brief outline of what position/which team - Mixed, Womens, Open, Masters you are interested in helping with and what you would bring to the position.
