2007-8 NZU Mixed Nationals

 

The 2007 NZU Mixed Nats will be held in Christchurch 8-9 Dec 2007

As a minimum for the early bird entry discount, I'll be happy to accept payment and a list of names of the people in your team by 15 November 07. Please book your flights asap, there are still many cheap flights out there, but these won't last long. Also, book your accommodation now... you can always cancel if you can't put a team together.


Description:

This year the NZU's premiere mixed (or co-ed) teams event will be held at Nunweek Park in Christchurch. The winning Men’s and Women’s teams at this event can boast that they are the 2007/2008 NZU Mixed Ultimate Champions. This year’s event is being run by the Canterbury Frisbee Flyers Club (CFFC).

When:

8 – 9 December 2007 (Be at the fields by 9.00 am on Sat 8 Dec)

Cost:

The cost is $35 per person (this includes a $10 NZU levy);

Team managers need to collect the entry fee and complete the team registration form (.xls 28 kb). There will be an early bird discount of $3 per person if the team manager submits the completed NZU entry registration form (.xls 28 kb) and the team fees prior to the 15th of November 2007.

* Hence if you pay before 15 November the fee is $32 per person *

Methods of payment and team registration:

• Cheques should be made out to “Canterbury Frisbee Flyers Club” and posted with a completed registration form to:

Late entries (after 15 November) registration form and cheque can be handed to Melissa or Michael Connolly at the tournament prior to the captains meeting.

• Electronic Payment & Registration: Team registrations can be emailed to the TD and team entry fees can be direct debited to:

If you choose this method of payment, then please also email the TD to confirm the team name that the payment was for and the amount that you deposited.

• Cash payments are also acceptable when paid to Michael or Melissa Connolly.

Lunch Option:

We are considering a lunch option for this tournament. This would cost $10 per person in your team, for both days. Basically we’d give your team a box of “goodies” for lunch each day of the tournament. If you are interested in this, then please let me know. If there is not enough demand for this, then it won’t happen.

Accommodation:

A1: Airport Lodge Motel – 0800 256 343, www.airportlodge.co.nz , 105 Roydvale Ave. Can sleep 4-6 people to a room for about $182 per night. They will offer an additional 10% discount for group bookings.

A2: Aarburg Airport Motel – 0800 101 928, www.aarburgmotel.co.nz, 94 Roydvale Ave. 5 person unit costs $150 and 3 person units cost $115 per night.

A3: Airport Delta Motel – 0800 800 825, www.airportdelta.co.nz, 61 Roydvale Ave
